Geohot arbeitet an untethered Jailbreak für iPhone, iPod und iPad

Der Godfather of iPhone-Hacking Geohot meldet sich in seinem Blog mit einer erfreulichen News zurück. Angeblich arbeitet er an einem untethered Jailbreak für das iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 2 & 3 und womöglich auch fürs iPad.

The jailbreak is all software based, and is as simple to use as blackra1n. It is completely untethered, works on all current tethered models [iPod touch G2, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch G3], and will probably work on iPad too.

Wann dies der Fall sein sollte, gab er zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt leider noch nicht bekannt. Hier noch ein Demonstrationsvideo:

        richtig … es handelt sich um ein ipod touch 3rd da er am anfang das voice control zeigt und die kopfhörer an der unteren Seite einsteckt sind. aber auch ein ipod 2nd & 3rd Gen besitzen eine bootrom die bis jetzt nur einen tethered jailbreak erlauben. von dem her kann das auch beim iphone 3gs angewendet werden.

      richtig … es handelt sich um ein ipod touch 3rd da er am anfang das voice control zeigt und die kopfhörer an der unteren Seite einsteckt sind. aber auch ein ipod 2nd & 3rd Gen besitzen eine bootrom die bis jetzt nur einen tethered jailbreak erlauben. von dem her kann das auch beim iphone 3gs angewendet werden.

      ja hallo Ma3xl3 ich hätte da eine frage über das thema iPhone 2G / 3G / 3GS Firmware 3.1.2 – Blackra1n – Jailbreak Anleitung (Win) beim wiederherstellen kommt bei mir eine fehler meldung und das geohot bild kommt auch nicht da steht runnig dann kommt (done, wait for reboot) das iphone geht aus dann leuchtet das bildschierm schwarz aber es geht einfach nicht an?? kanst du mir helfen?

      Hi Leute kann mir jemand vielleicht sagen womit ich mein iPhone 3GS 32 GB Baseband 05.12.01 FW 4.0 jailbreaken kann??? Ein Unlock benötige ich nicht das mein iPhone ab Werk frei ist!

      Wäre Cool wenn mir jemand nen Link schicken könnte wo ne gut Anleitung für Windows ist.
