Redsn0w ist ein Jailbreak und Unlock Tool für die Firmware 3.0. Das Tool unterstützt das iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPod touch 1G und iPod touch 2G. Hingegen wird das iPhone 3GS noch nicht supportet! Zur Zeit ist die Software für Windows und Mac OS X verfügbar (Probleme treten noch mit dem OSX PPC auf, deswegen wird ein Intel Mac empfohlen).
Redsn0w unterstützt ähnliche Funktionen wie QuickPwn.
Zur Erinnerung: iPhone 3G Besitzer die Yellowsn0w im Einsatz haben, dürfen noch kein Update durchführen! Das Redsn0w 0.7 beinhaltet kein UltraSn0w und ist erst in nächster Zeit über Cydia verfügbar!
iPhone 2G Benutzer können den Unlock durchführen.
